Devotional Message- Day 26
We don’t talk about it enough, but sometimes you just need to start over.
You missed a week of prayer.
You lost your temper.
You slipped into old habits.
You forgot what peace felt like.
And the enemy whispers: “You’ve blown it. Again.”
But here’s the thing: God isn’t keeping score.
He’s extending a hand.
The power of grace is not just that it covers your past—but that it gives you permission to begin again.
Not in shame. Not in guilt. But in renewed strength.
The same God who created the sunrise gives you a fresh start every morning.
You don’t have to fix it all at once.
You don’t have to catch up.
You simply have to say, “Lord, let’s begin again.”
There is power in that reset.
There is presence in your return.
Reflection Prompt
Where in your spiritual life do you feel like you need a reset? What would it look like to receive God’s mercy and simply begin again?
Prayer
Father, I’m tired of pretending I have it all together. I need a fresh start. Thank You for new mercies today. I receive Your grace and choose to begin again—with You. Amen.
Closer Still – Action Step
Today, declare out loud: “I get to start over.” Then choose one small spiritual habit to restart—reading one verse, praying for 2 minutes, or journaling a line. Start small. Start fresh. Start now.
