Day 26 – The Grace to Begin Again
✦ Scripture Focus

Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning… β€” Lamentations 3:22–23 (NIV)

Devotional Message

We don't talk about it enough β€” but sometimes you just need to start over.

Sound familiar?
  • You missed a week of prayer
  • You lost your temper
  • You slipped into old habits
  • You forgot what peace felt like

And the enemy whispers: "You've blown it. Again."

What the enemy says...

God is keeping score of every failure and stumble.

What God is actually doing...

He's not keeping score. He's extending a hand.

The same God who created the sunrise gives you a fresh start every morning.

Beginning again doesn't require...
Not needed

Fixing it all at once

Not needed

Catching up to where you were

Not needed

Starting in shame or guilt

You simply have to say,

"Lord, let's begin again."

There is power in that reset.

There is presence in your return.

Where in your spiritual life do you feel like you need a reset? What would it look like to receive God's mercy and simply begin again?

πŸ™ Today's Prayer

Father, I'm tired of pretending I have it all together. I need a fresh start. Thank You for new mercies today. I receive Your grace and choose to begin again β€” with You. Amen.

βœ… Closer Still β€” Action Step

"I get to start over."
