Devotional Message- Day 19
Journaling isn’t just for tracking your day—it’s a spiritual tool for tracking your heart.
When you journal with Jesus, you’re creating space to:
Reflect honestly
Listen intentionally
Notice patterns
Record what God is doing
It’s less about structure and more about conversation.
Some days, your journaling might look like:
Writing a letter to God
Processing a Scripture verse
Documenting a breakthrough or struggle
Capturing what you sense God speaking
Jesus wants to walk through your story with you—not just as the Author, but as your Companion.
Journaling is a way to slow down and tune in.
And over time, it becomes a record of your growth, your wrestles, your prayers—and His responses.
It’s not about being eloquent. It’s about being present.
So don’t journal to impress—journal to connect.
Reflection Prompt
What helps you slow down enough to reflect on what God is doing in your life? How could journaling deepen your conversations with Him?
Prayer
Lord, help me slow down and see You in my daily life. Teach me how to journal with You, not just about You. Show me how to use my pen as a place of connection, growth, and healing. Amen.
Closer Still – Action Step
Open a new journal entry titled “Journaling with Jesus.” Ask Him one question—anything. Then pause, write your thoughts, and let the conversation flow. No filters. Just fellowship.
