“Be still, and know that I am God.” – Psalm 46:10
Devotional Message- Day 15
In a world of noise, stillness feels unnatural.
We fill every gap with scrolling, multitasking, and background sound. But stillness isn’t silence for the sake of quiet—it’s space where the soul can breathe, listen, and connect.
Sacred space isn’t just about the location—it’s about intention.
It’s that chair by the window where you meet with God.
It’s the corner of your room where you journal your prayers.
It’s your car before work. A walk in the morning. A lit candle that says, “This moment belongs to Him.”
Sacred space reminds us that God is near.
It teaches us to pause, listen, reflect, and be—instead of do.
You don’t need a cathedral to encounter the Holy One.
You need a willing heart and a quiet place.
Let this be your reminder: you were never created for nonstop movement.
You were created for sacred connection.
Reflection Prompt
Where in your life do you intentionally create space to meet with God? What distractions could you remove to make that time more meaningful?
Prayer
Father, the world is noisy and my soul is weary. Help me carve out sacred space to rest and be with You. Teach me to be still—and to know You more deeply in the quiet. Amen.
Closer Still – Action Step
Identify one place in your home or schedule where you can meet with God daily. Add a small item (like a candle, Bible, journal) to make it feel intentional. Begin using it—even for just 5 minutes a day.
